Getting Started

How do I download the app?

Cue Connect is available on the iOS App Store. Search for 'Cue Connect' or visit our download page. Android version coming soon!

Do I need to create an account?

You can browse venues without an account, but you'll need to create one to pay for tables. It only takes 30 seconds with your email or Apple ID.

Is the app free?

Yes! The Cue Connect app is completely free to download and use. You only pay for the pool table time you use.

Payment

How much does it cost to play?

Pricing varies by venue. Some charge per game (usually $1-3), others charge per hour ($6-12). You'll see the exact price before you pay.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Your payment information is securely stored and encrypted.

Will I be charged if I don't play?

No. You're only charged after you confirm your payment and the table unlocks. If there's an issue, simply don't start the game.

Can I get a refund?

If you experience technical issues that prevent you from playing, contact our support team within 24 hours. We'll investigate and issue a refund if appropriate.

Using the App

How do I find tables near me?

Open the app and allow location access. The map will show all Cue Connect-enabled tables nearby. You can also search by city or venue name.

How do I connect to a table?

When you're at a venue, make sure Bluetooth is enabled. The app will automatically detect nearby tables. Tap the table you want, select your payment, and it will unlock.

What if the table doesn't unlock?

First, check that Bluetooth is on and you're standing near the table. If it still doesn't work, use the 'Help' button in the app or contact support. You won't be charged if the table doesn't unlock.

Can I extend my playing time?

Yes! If you're paying by time (hourly), you can extend your session right from the app without interrupting your game.

Technical

Why does the app need Bluetooth access?

We use Bluetooth to communicate with the table's hardware. This is how the app knows which table you're at and sends the unlock signal.

Why does the app need location access?

Location helps us show you nearby venues and tables. You can browse without location access, but you'll need it to find tables near you.

Will this drain my phone battery?

Cue Connect uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), which has minimal impact on battery life. Using the app for a typical game session uses less battery than 5 minutes of video streaming.

What iOS version do I need?

Cue Connect requires iOS 14.0 or later. This covers iPhones from iPhone 6s and newer.

Account & Privacy

Is my payment information secure?

Absolutely. We use bank-level encryption and never store your full card details. All payments are processed through industry-standard secure payment processors.

Can I see my playing history?

Yes! Your profile shows all your past games, venues you've visited, and total playing time. Great for tracking your pool habit!

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This will permanently remove your data. Note that you won't be able to recover past receipts after deletion.
